You Are a Star” is Aharon Wyne‘s third single that has been released over the last year. Aharon has thank G-d seen amazing success over his first two singles “I’ll Try“, and “My Story“, but many are saying that “You Are a Star” might be his best work yet!

Aharon describes “You Are a Star” as an uplifting song with a powerful message which is that every person has unbelievably great potential no matter what other people think or say. Aharon also says that this message is extremely important for people to hear specifically in 2019 where social media has become such a big part of people’s lives, and therefore people are always being compared to others and subconsciously being told who is and isn’t a “star”. With this release Aharon is here to say (and sing) “You Are a Star“!

Chorus written by Yosef Brown

“Sabooni” is a song that explains the day to day interaction we have with our evil inclination. It expresses the strength and curage we use to overcome the desires that try to take us off The Path of Hashem. No matter how hard we fight and no matter how skilled we feel, we need to know the success comes from the one above.

Rabbi Yaakov Singer Releases Debut Single “Nodeh Lacha/Thank You Hashem”

$

Rabbi Yaakov Singer is no stranger to Jewish music. As a young boy he participated in the first Pirchei Choir album conducted by Rabbi Eli Teitelbaum A”H. Growing up, he was always involved in music, inspired by the cantorial greats of yesteryear, attending their cantorial services, serving as an accomplished Baal Tefilla, singing at simchos, while also composing his own niggunim and Nusach Hatfilah compositions.

A year ago, Reb Yaakov experienced unparalleled Siyatta Dishmaya in a very difficult life crisis situation. The Yad Hashem was clearly evident and tangible throughout, which eventually led to a successful conclusion. One morning while driving home from learning, he began thinking about the good fortune Hashem bestowed upon him. Spontaneously, there awoke in him tremendous feelings of gratitude and cause for thanks to Hashem, which his heart poured out in song. Thus, the song Nodeh Lecho was born.

At that time Rabbi Singer was completing a book dedicated to the legacy of his parents’ life. He thought, why not record Nodeh Lecho and release the song along with the book at the upcoming family gathering. Soon after Reb Yaakov contacted his friend Eli Wax, a popular musician whom he had known for many years, and asked him if he could help produce the song professionally. After many weeks of hard work, a sixteen minute production was completed, sung and recorded in various versions. One hundred CDs of the song were produced and distributed to family members and friends. Receiving positive feedback, Rabbi Singer decided it was finally time to start releasing his niggunim to the greater Jewish world.

Presenting Nodeh Lecha – Thank You Hashem, an inspirational song from the heart, that will touch your soul, a taste of the past, today. Close your eyes and THANK HASHEM.

There are moments in life when a person feels clearly and without doubt that the רבש”ע bestowed incredible טוב on him! And then one thinks in his heart “Thank you, רבש”ע, thank you!”. But then there are those times when the person realizes suddenly, “Wowowowow! The רבש”ע is constantly and consistently being משפיע טוב on me! How can I thank Him enough for everything!!!” And the person starts screaming and singing at the top of his voice “No No No we don’t thank Him enough!!!!”. “How could we thank HIM enough for all the GOODNESS!!!”

Shua Fried Presents “Du Voint A Yid”– Yisroel Werdyger’s Fifth Album

The “album of the year” is finally available in stores and online. After years of intensive work, Yisroel Werdyger released his fifth album called “Du Voint A Yid,” which was produced and arranged by Shua Fried – Watch the animation clip for the hit song “Chap A Tentzel.”

Following two years of intensive work, which involved the brightest musical talents, under the guidance of producer Shua Fried, the album “Du Voint A Yid” is finally available (literally: A Jew Dwells Here)

“We invested tremendous efforts in this album,” says Fried, “We weren’t deterred by anything and we insisted on bringing an album on the highest standard possible.”

Yisroel Werdyger’s emergence as a musical superstar is not a wonder to those following his career. Yisroel is popular at weddings and events for over a decade, and has accrued a large following of fans and admirers.

Following up on his first four albums, which have taken the Jewish music world by storm, and are sung at events across the globe, the singer with the golden voice is back with number five.

Du Voint A Yid is certain to be greeted with the same enthusiasm as Bayis Ne’eman, Odeh Lakeil, Avorcho and Ashira V’azamra. It’s a truly masterful production with compositions that are fresh and exciting while still strongly grounded with a chassidishe taam.

Yisroel worked hand in hand with his long time friend and renowned musical producer Shua Fried, searching worldwide for compositions that were a cut above, music that would touch the heart and leave listeners feeling inspired.

Considerable time and expense were invested in every song in order to imbue each one with a richness that makes Du Voint A Yid not just a collection of compositions but an uplifting musical experience.

Each of the thirteen songs were lovingly polished to perfection by Shua. The album is greatly enhanced by the participation of Shira Choir, as well as the Moishy Kraus children’s choir. The niggunim and melodies were drawn from a wide array of talented composers, from old hands to rising stars. These include Rav Pinchas Breuer, Yanky Daskal, Rav Hillel Paley, Yitzy Waldner, Hershy Weinberger, Hershy Rottenberg, Yossi Green, Meir Adler, Menashe Feigenbaum and Motti Ilowitz.

Du Voint A Yid is being distributed by Aderet and is available online via MostlyMusic.com and at your local Judaica store.

In addition to the album preview, Werdyger is excited to release a single, “Chap a Tentzel,” a truly lively tune which was composed by the Meir Adler. The animation clip was created by Bahazit Media Studios from Israel.

The message of the song, which is sung in yiddish is, that a person should not say, “It is difficult for me, I am an honorable person and it is inappropriate for me to join a dance.” To the contrary, this is the mitzvah Hashem wants of us! Who among us is greater than the ne’im zemiros Yisroel, Dovid Hamelech, who for the sake of a mitzvah danced and encouraged others to dance and rejoice, as the passuk tells us, “Dovid HaMelech danced with all his might before Hashem!”

The World That Was: Eretz Yisrael – The Holy Land As The Nexus Of Jewish Identity: Book I: Upheaval and Renaissance

With scrupulous attention to historical accuracy, profound understanding of Torah hashkafah, and its magnificent collection of photographs, charts and illustrations, The World That Was Eretz Yisrael is the latest addition to The World That Was series. These volumes have been hailed worldwide for offering readers a fascinating, Torah-oriented perspective on the history of the Jewish communities in various countries. Now, once again, the author meticulously presents the richly layered account of seminal events in the history of the holy, beloved land of Eretz Yisrael, the heart of the Jewish People.

Promised to our ancestors, Eretz Yisrael was the Jewish homeland for over 1,000 years. In this exceedingly long exile of close to two millennia, it has remained our hope, our dream, the destination of our hearts’ desire, the place we turn to in our prayers.

Volume One of The World That Was: Eretz Yisrael explores its history from the aftermath of the First Temple to the beginning of the Twentieth Century. And what an incredible history: The turbulent Second Temple era, the momentous redacting of the Mishnah, the saintly Tannaim and Amoraim, the Moslem, Crusader, and Ottoman conquests, the writing of the Zohar and, later, the Shulchan Aruch. And of course, the various aliyah movements, from the students of the Baal Shem Tov, Vilna Gaon and Chasam Sofer, to the survivors of the Holocaust. All of them were courageous Jews who followed their hearts’ passionate call and came to build what was then a desolate, dangerous land. With uncompromising commitment and love, they triumphed over unimaginable challenges to build Yerushalayim’s Old Yishuv and develop the rest of the Land.

The World That Was: Eretz Yisrael is the riveting story of the unbreakable bond between Hashem, His People, and His beautiful, Holy Land.

Lyrics : Flying High
Composition: Zvika Bornstein
Lyrics: Zvika Bornstein
Sung by : Shea Rubenstein

Sometimes, I just feel I’m falling
World’s spinning around
Calling from the depth of nowhere
Can’t hear a sound
When I call your name, you pull me up
I’m off the ground
Breaking from of chains that ground me
Nothing holds me down

Chorus:

Flying high
Flying high
Spread my wing across the sky
Soaring high
Soaring high
Grounding forces , I Defy
Flying high
Flying high
Spread my wing across the sky
Soaring high
Grounding forces , I Defy

Sometimes, I can feel life’s passing
Like castles in sand
All the waves of time come crashing
Nothing’s where I stand
Storms may come, but thru the clouds
I hear you call my name
You are there beside me,
Dancing in the rain.

Chorus:

Flying high
Flying high
Spread my wing across the sky
Soaring high
Soaring high
Grounding forces , I Defy
Flying high
Flying high
Spread my wing across the sky
Soaring high
Grounding forces , I Defy

Motty Steinmetz’s New Hit for Siyumei Hashas: Bizchus Hatorah

The song is performed by master of emotion, R’ Motty Steinmetz, in honor of the Siyumei Hashas, and was composed by the successful Duo, Eli Klein and Yitzy Berry. He is accompanied by The Malchus Choir, directed by R’ Pinchas Bichler. “When Klal Yisroel said na’aseh v’nishma, Hakadosh Baruch Hu said: ‘In the merit of Torah and Am Yisroel, the world will be saved. For the sake of this rose, the orchard will be saved.”

Undoubtedly, this is going to be the greatest hit of this winter. To mark the series of Dirshu Siyum Hashas events worldwide, the greatest Jewish music artists from Israel and worldwide have joined forces to produce a moving and uplifting song that will be performed at the tremendous events where tens of thousands of people completing Shas will participate around the world – in Eretz Yisroel, the United States, Paris, London, Manchester, South Africa, and Belarus.

The song is performed by master of emotion, R’ Motty Steinmetz, and was composed by Eli Klein and Yitzy Berry. He is accompanied by The Malchus Choir, directed by R’ Pinchas Bichler.

The lyrics are taken from the midrash in Vayikra Rabbah, With its special words, the song expresses how those who study Torah protect all of Am Yisroel, particularly now, when we need a yeshuah more than everything else, as is emphasized in the lyrics: “In the merit of Torah and Am Yisroel, the world will be saved.”

“The song’s lyrics and music arouse pride, loftiness, and love of Torah,” explains Eli Klein. “This song has been playing in my head since we composed it about two years ago, and I knew the whole time that it was gold, and we just needed to wait for the right time to reveal it. Undoubtedly, the most appropriate time to launch the song is at the Dirshu Siyumei Hashas events, to be held in the coming months around the world.”

“This is not just another song from an album,” adds Klein. “It’s a song for a historic occasion in honor of the Torah. An occasion with the participation of the Gedolei Yisroel and tens of thousands of talmidei chachomim, who will be completing the Shas. I can think of no greater honor than writing a song for Dirshu – the largest Torah organization in the world, and specifically for such a special and memorable event in honor of the Torah and those who study it.”
